Installation Steps
Sign Up or Log In
Create a LiquidA11y account or log in to your existing account at liquida11y.com/login.
Click "Connect Shopify"
From your dashboard, click the "Connect Shopify" button. This will redirect you to Shopify's authorization page.
Authorize the App
Review the permissions and click "Install app." We request:
- read_themes: To scan your theme files for accessibility issues
- write_themes: To apply automatic fixes (Pro/Agency only)
- read_products: To scan product pages accurately
Start Scanning
You'll be redirected back to LiquidA11y. Your store is now connected and ready for full scans!
Permissions Explained
🔒 Your Data is Safe
We only access what's needed for accessibility scanning. We never access customer data, orders, or payment information.

Troubleshooting
Can't find the authorization screen?
Make sure you're logged into the correct Shopify store. Check the store name in the URL.
Installation failed?
Ensure you have admin or owner permissions on the Shopify store. Staff accounts with limited permissions may not be able to install apps.
Want to disconnect?
Go to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps → LiquidA11y → Remove app.
