Using A11y Studio Step by Step

Run a Scan

Log in and run a scan on your connected Shopify store. A11y Studio requires a connected store to access theme files.

Enter A11y Studio

From your results, click "Fix Issues" to enter A11y Studio. Issues with fixes available are marked with a fix icon.

Review the Fix

Each fix shows:

  • The file being modified (e.g., sections/header.liquid)
  • The original code vs. the proposed fix (diff view)
  • An explanation of what the change does and why
  • The WCAG criteria being addressed

Approve or Skip

Click "Apply Fix" to deploy the change to your theme, or "Skip" to move to the next issue. You always have the final say on what gets deployed.
