LiquidA11y LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") has established this Refund Policy to ensure transparency regarding refunds for our accessibility scanning and remediation services. This policy applies to all purchases made through our platform.
2. Nature of Our Products
LiquidA11y provides digital goods and services, including:
- Accessibility Scan Reports: Digital PDF documents containing analysis of your website
- Fix-Flow Studio Access: Software-as-a-Service access to our remediation platform
- Liability Shield: Ongoing monitoring and audit trail services
- AI-Generated Content: Code suggestions, fix recommendations, and analysis
Due to the immediate, automated delivery of digital goods upon purchase, certain limitations on refunds apply as described below.

4. One-Time Purchase Refunds
4.1 General Policy
One-time purchases (including the $9 Full Audit and Agency Upgrade) are generally non-refundable because:
- Digital goods are delivered immediately upon purchase
- You receive instant access to report data and intellectual property
- The service is performed automatically at the time of purchase
4.2 Exceptions
We may issue a refund under the following circumstances:
- Technical Failure: The scan failed to complete due to a technical issue on our end, AND we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours
- Duplicate Charge: You were accidentally charged twice for the same purchase
- Unauthorized Transaction: The purchase was made without your authorization (subject to investigation)
- Material Misrepresentation: The service materially failed to match its description (not including subjective quality assessments)
4.3 Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
- Change of mind after receiving the report
- Dissatisfaction with the number or type of issues detected
- Inability to implement recommended fixes
- Third-party issues (e.g., your hosting provider blocking our scanner)
- Scans of websites you did not have permission to scan
- Misunderstanding of what the service includes (please read descriptions carefully)
5. Subscription Refunds
5.1 Cancellation Policy
Premium subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to subscription features until your paid period expires.
5.2 No Prorated Refunds
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access for the remainder of that billing cycle but will not receive a refund for unused days.
5.3 Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refunds for subscriptions if:
- The service was materially unavailable for an extended period (more than 3 consecutive days)
- A significant feature was removed without reasonable notice
- Other circumstances we deem appropriate at our sole discretion
6. How to Request a Refund
6.1 Submission

- Any supporting documentation (screenshots of errors, etc.)

6.3 Refund Processing
If approved, refunds are processed through the original payment method (typically within 5-10 business days). Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
Important: Before filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company, please contact us directly to resolve the issue. Chargebacks incur significant fees and administrative burden.
If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:
- Your account may be suspended pending resolution
- We will provide evidence to the payment processor supporting our position
- If the chargeback is found to be fraudulent or unjustified, we may pursue recovery of the amount plus applicable fees
Most issues can be resolved faster and more favorably by contacting our support team directly.
8. Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Some jurisdictions may provide additional rights or protections that cannot be waived. If you are entitled to statutory refund rights, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
8.1 European Union Residents
Under EU consumer law, you typically have a 14-day withdrawal period for distance purchases. However, this right may not apply to digital content that has been accessed or downloaded, or to services that have been fully performed, where you have given prior express consent and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal.
By purchasing and initiating a scan, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed.
